Handicrafts Fair to be Organized with Commonwealth Games 2010

December 10, 2009- A shopping festival cum crafts fair is to be organized in Gurgaon during the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) to be held in Delhi. The Haryana Tourism Department will organize this festival/fair on the lines of Surajkund Crafts Mela to showcase the heritage and handicrafts of the state. A pre-shopping festival would also be organized in February 2010 in Gurgaon itself in order to assess the arrangements needed for the October trade event.
